Hello World v2025

Hi there! 👋

I'm Chris, a software engineer based in North Wales, I've been working with code for a fairly long time, but over the last 10 years I've worked with:

  • C#
  • .NET (from Framework 4.0 to .NET 8.0)
  • JavaScript
  • TypeScript
  • Vue
  • React
  • Azure DevOps
  • Azure

I'm currently learning more about the following:

  • Next.js
  • Microservices
  • Terraform
  • LLMs
  • Python (maybe)

I've built this site with Next.js and TypeScript, and the main feature I can't wait to play around with is parsing MDX using Velite, so I can write my notes in Obsidian and then have them transformed into static pages, one of which you are reading right now! 😅

I look forward to posting about my explorations into different technologies, along with tracking my progress through the year.
